This is one of a series of highly successful vintage bottling's from The Glenrothes, this time from the 1987 vintage, bottled, after 18 years maturation in 2005 . This whisky has complex character with strong citrus notes, orange zest and vanilla.
Nose: Fruity and sweet, confectioners sugar and rock candy.
Palate: Smooth caramel and toffee with hints of sweet fruit and peach. Oak notes and light nuttiness.
Finish: Medium finish with oak and marmalade and hints of pepper and vanilla.
