This is the Octomore 11.1 offering from the Bruichladdich distillery.
A heavily-peated Islay single malt. This has been matured in American oak casks from Jim Beam, Jack Daniels and Heaven Hill for five years after it was distilled in 2014.
Nose: citrus, peat and lots of wood
Palate: offers sugar, summer fruits, vanilla, toasted oak
Finish: Lingering medicinal peat smoke and salt
