Made from 100% agave Duranguensis, a rare agave species found in Durango, Mexico, it is hand-crafted using traditional methods. The agave hearts (piñas) are roasted in earthen pits, crushed by a tahona (a large stone wheel), fermented in wooden vats, and distilled in copper stills.
