Two distilleries, Ardbeg and Laphroaig, celebrate their 200 (bicentenary) year anniversary this year, 2015. Both distilleries have promised to celebrate in style, and release a number of special bottkes. The Ardbeg Perpetuum Distillery Release Bicentenary Committee Release is the first special from Ardbeg. Ardbeg Perpetuum is inspired by the history of Ardbeg and combines many tasted and flavours of both young and old whisky. Matured in bourbon and sherry casks. A unique whisky for a unique celebration 200 Years of Ardbeg!   Nose: On the nose hints of dark chocolate and peat. Palate: On the palate the dark chocolate explodes into a full flavour with smoke. Finish: A medium finish with notes of vanilla.
