The Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix is a limited edition release commemorating a moment in the Glenfiddich history. Selecting and marrying the finest Oloroso and American oak casks aged 13 -30 years old. The whisky has been sourced from warehouses whose roofs had collapsed on 7th January 2010 under the hundreds of tonnes of snow that had fallen in Speyside that winter. Out of the ruins of the warehouse, Glenfiddich created the irresistible Snow Phoenix from the spirit maturing in the casks that lay in stricken warehouse. PLEASE NOTE: Some small scratches on the tin. Nose: Creamy vanilla mixes with vibrant apple and pear, complemented by soft blossom. Palate: Apples roasted in fire embers, sweetened with heather honey and accompanied by a little chocolate. Rich and complex with a trace of burned sugar, coffee and wood smoke. Finish: Exceptionally long and sweet.
