Description

To produce this gorgeous blend that is the Dalmore King Alexander III, Richard Paterson (a master distiller) selected his own range of malts with different ages in a combination of French wine casks, Sherry butts, Madeira drums, Marsala barrels, Bourbon barrels and Port pipes. A striking feat of blending and delicious!   Nose: Very nutty, peanuts and walnuts mostly, and a touch of orange. Palate: Orange is more present on the palate, tea is there too and a generous lashing of white chocolate. Finish: Coffee is medium strong, we can taste some chicory too in the background. It is a medium last on the tongue.
