Smells awful, tastes ok

this whisky smells like sea salt chunks and sand shoved into your nose its smell is quite unpleasant and a bit hard to bare, the taste is nice but its nothing worth getting excited over, i feel like the nose really distracts from the palet, i think this is a whisky you can enjoy if you ignore the smell, but its not really that interesting or worth buying unless super cheap.
