About This Whisky

A single cask Benrinnes 1997 26-year-old Speyside single malt whisky bottled in 2024 by Signatory Vintage for their splendid Symington’s Choice range.

This 26-year-old Benrinnes 1997 was bottled without colouring or chill filtration from Cask 9749, which was a first fill Oloroso sherry hogshead yielding 212 bottles at 53.7%, and is a sister cask to Cask 9740 that appeared in the same outturn - evidently Mr. Symington couldn’t decide which to pick for this Symington’s Choice release, so plumped for both.
