A single malt Scotch whisky with a higher strength, the Glenfiddich Valley of the Deer distillery edition has been matured for 15 years in traditional American and Spanish oak. This is certainly an evocative whisky for the discerning whisky drinker. Nose: Blossom and fresh flowers. Crisp with a peppery edge. Hints of custard and almond. Palate: Malt, very creamy with more of those blossom notes. Spicy with hints of dark, rich fruit, black pepper and cinnamon. Good sherry character. Finish: Sweetness, and a lush long finish.
