Ardbeg Alligator Committee Release Bottling Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Ardbeg Alligator Committee Release was given 94 points in Jim Murray’s Bible 2017. It a lovely example of what peat can achieve. It is a very complex and smoky dram. The Alligator in its name comes from the barrels being heavily charred that leaves an inner layer of charcoal that comes to resemble the skin of an alligator. The bottle was released before the mass release “for discussion”.
