From the previously mothballed for 65 year distillery of Ben Riach, this 16 Year Old, lightly peated single malt is delicious and a good addition to your whisky cabinet! Benriach have their own on site floor malting and draw water from the Burnside Springs making an unmistakable Speyside malt with a rich body - don't miss it! Nose: Fruity-fresh. Honeyed sweetness, touch of dryness. Palate: Medium. Sweet barley and vanilla. Buttery, some apple peel. Perhaps a spot of peat. Finish: Medium length, some caramel, dark sugar and a pinch of peat.
