Clase Azul Mezcal Durango is a premium artisanal mezcal that showcases the rich cultural heritage and exceptional craftsmanship of Mexico. This particular expression is produced in Durango, a region known for its distinctive agave species and unique distillation process. Made from 100% agave Duranguensis, a rare agave species found in Durango, Mexico, it is hand-crafted using traditional methods. The agave hearts (piñas) are roasted in earthen pits, crushed by a tahona (a large stone wheel), fermented in wooden vats, and distilled in copper stills. The result is a mezcal that highlights the specific terroir of Durango and the time-honored traditions of mezcal production.
