GlenDronach 14 Year Old Marsala Cask Finish 70cl 46%

This 14-Year-Old expression from the GlenDronach distillery in Aberdeenshire was initially matured in European oak casks before being finished in a very small batch of Marsala casks, giving the final whisky its own unique range of flavours and aromas.Deep autumn gold in colour, the nose is ripe in fairground candy apples, stem ginger and white pepper combining with delicate barley notes. The palate brings fresh green apples developing into vanilla fudge and pear drops, with rich oak balancing the sweet and spice. The finish is well-balanced with ripe fruits and oak spices.
