About This Whisky

A bright, coastal Highland whisky matured in a trio of bourbon, sherry, and red-wine casks. Aromas of ripe stone fruit, vanilla, and sea breeze lead into a smooth palate of figs, cherry, and subtle nutty sweetness. The finish lingers with gentle oak, salted chocolate, and a touch of maritime freshness. Elegant, approachable, and distinctly shaped by its shoreside home.

About Glenglassaugh

Glenglassaugh Distillery

The Glenglassaugh Distillery is a historic single malt Scotch whisky producer located near Portsoy, Banffshire, on the northeast coast of Scotland. Established in 1875 by James Moir and his nephews, the distillery was strategically situated between Sandend Bay and Portsoy to leverage the pure water from Glassaugh Springs and access to barley fields. In January 2025, Brown-Forman announced a strategic pause in production at Glenglassaugh, implementing a shared production model with BenRiach Distillery in Elgin. Glenglassaugh whiskies are renowned for their rich, coastal character, influenced by the distillery's proximity to the sea. The spirit is matured in a diverse range of casks, often in coastal warehouses overlooking Sandend Bay.
