This very rare bottle from Glenmorangie is a single malt scotch whisky aged for 25 years, of which the last few were spent in casks previously used for Malaga. Malaga is a type of fortified wine made from Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel grapes which actually originated in Malaga, Spain. Nose: Wine, sweet, rich, overpowering but not too much Palate: There is a lot of nuttiness going on, with walnuts, hazelnuts and even wafts of almond darting in and out Finish: Very elongated finish, a slight saltiness and eventually some smoke coming through
