About This Whisky

North Star 10 Year Old Campbeltown Connections is a blended scotch bottled by North Star Spirits. Matured for 10 years, distilled in 2015, bottled in 2025 at a robust ABV of 50.7%. From a blend of Campbeltown distilleries, a bespoke mix described by North Star as “our own mix of Springbank, Glen Scotia and other Campbeltown malts. This bottling showcases the distinctive Campbeltown style, combining coastal salinity, fruity citrus, and a soft waxiness. The peel-like grapefruit citrus and vanilla suggest a refined sweetness, while subtle peat and mineral notes anchor it in regional authenticity. The finish’s paraffin nuance adds nostalgic charm—evocative of a seaside candlelit warehouse—with a softly burning edge.
