About This Whisky

North Star 13-Year-Old Secret Island is a single malt from bottler North Star Spirits. Distilled in 2012, and bottled 2025 from an undisclosed Island distillery. At a robust 58.2% ABV, this is a high-impact dram pushing flavor boundaries. This bottling likely presents as a rich, spirited, and slightly whimsical island-style malt—bold and warming, with fruit-forward and spiced dessert notes offset by gentle peat and coastal character. Less brooding than Islay-style floor peat bombs, more fun and exuberant—like cinnamon-laced fruit tart by the seaside.
