This bottle from Bruichladdich Distilery is a Port Charlotte Release selected by Head Distiller Adam Hannett, chosen to mark the relaunch of the Port Charlotte range.The Last of the First:  Adam  joined the last five casks from Port Charlotte's first year of distillation in 2001. which previously held either American whiskey, rum or fine French wine. There are only 1300 bottles, the Heretic is bottled at 55.9% abv.
