This very limited release from Kentucky rye whisky distillers Sazerac has been matured for 18 years before being bottled in the fall of 2006. A true rarity, we advise snapping it up whilst you can! Nose: Definitely a rye whisky, characteristic spiciness with sweet notes. Warm cloves and punchy cinnamon, followed by sharp black pepper. Perhaps some brown sugar. Palate: A strong element of spice. Pipe tobacco and dark chocolate. Nutmeg and cloves, with a sweetness, maybe vanilla. Finish: Long, dry. Spice and leather.
