Part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection this is a sought after bottle of 2016 Sazerac 18 Year Rye. Using a mash bill recipe of Minnesota rye, Kentucky corn grade 1 and 2 and North Dakota malted barley this bourbon entered the barrels in 1998, was matured on the 2nd floor of Wearhouse K and emptied from the barrels 18 years later in 2016. The 2016 expression from Thomas Handy was bottled from 24 barrels that saw a 72.1% loss to evaporation and it is estimated there were only 2,587 bottles released. Nose: Cherry, mustard, corn Palate: smoke, clove, allspice Finish: Fruity especially cherry, well balanced
