Description

Tomintoul 30-Year-Old 1995 #6 is a sophisticated, full-bodied Speyside experience with rich sherry notes, warming spices and mature dried fruit, yet tempered by silky texture and balance. It diverges from Tomintoul’s standard “gentle dram” style, leaning instead into bold sherry maturation, while preserving elegance. Distilled 1st May 1995, bottled 29 May 2025. Matured for 30 years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, at cask strength with a robust abv of 50.7%, non–chill filtered, preserving its natural colour. Only 565 bottles from a single butt which makes this bottle collectible and exclusive.

about the distillery

Tomintoul distillery

Tomintoul was Established in 1964 by Hay & MacLeod and W. & S. Strongin. The distillery is located in Banffshire, the Speyside region of Scotland. Near the village of Tomintoul, in Ballindalloch, Moray, Scotland. Tomintoul Distillery (pronounced "Tom-in-towel") is one of the highest working distilleries in the Scottish Highlands, over 1,000 feet above sea level. Their water is sourced from Ballantruan Spring (from the Cromdale Hills). Built during the post-WWII whisky boom to meet growing demand then the ownership changed several times before being acquired by Angus Dundee Distillers in 2000. The distillery is now thriving under the guidance of Master Distiller Robert Fleming, whose family has deep roots in Speyside and is well-respected in the industry.
