  1. ABOUT THE COMPETITION

    1. Promotion Period: Participate between 12.02.26 and 29.03.26 at 23:59. Prize: One (1) winner will receive a fully hosted private whisky evening for up to six (6) guests at The Really Good Whisky Company HQ, Finchley Road, London.

The prize includes:

  • Exclusive 2 hour private hire of The Private Whisky Room (worth £300)

  • A guided whisky tasting

  • A curated selection of exceptional whiskies

  • Tasting experience valued at £60 per guest (six guests total)

  1. These terms and conditions set out the applicable terms of our competitions. By submitting a competition entry, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  2. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

    1. The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding:

      1. Employees of the Promoter, its agencies, or affiliated companies, and their immediate families.

      2. Anyone professionally connected with this competition.

Entries must comply with platform community standards and all applicable laws, and not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.

  1. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.

  2. The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:

    1. automatically generated by computer;

    2. completed by third parties or in bulk;

    3. irresponsible, derogatory, harmful, offensive, bullying or discriminatory;, 

    4. illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged, or tampered with;

    5. photocopies and not originals; or incomplete, damaged or corrupted.

  1. HOW TO ENTER

    1. The competition will be run as follows:

  1. Follow @reallygoodwhisky on Instagram during the Promotion Period.

  2. Comment on the official competition post by tagging at least one (1) other Instagram user.

  3. Each additional tagged user in separate comments will count as one (1) additional entry.

  4. For a bonus entry, share the competition post to your Instagram Story and tag @reallygoodwhisky (account must be public for verification at the time of entry).

  1. Only entries completed in accordance with the above steps during the Promotion Period will be valid.

  2. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and residents of the United Kingdom.

  3. No purchase is necessary to enter.

  4. All social media competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified. 

  5. Winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries received by the closing date using a random number generator. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  6. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to these terms or to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

  7. The Promoter will not accept:

    1. responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged, or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or 

    2. proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.

  1. THE PRIZE

    1. One (1) winner will receive a fully hosted private whisky evening for up to six (6) guests at The Really Good Whisky Company HQ, Finchley Road, London.

The prize includes:

  • Exclusive 2 hour private hire of The Private Whisky Room (worth £300)

  • A guided whisky tasting hosted by Alex

  • A curated selection of exceptional whiskies

  • Tasting experience valued at £60 per guest (six guests total)

  1. Winners must be 18 years old or older at the time of the prize. Anything not specifically set out in this clause is not included in the prize. 

  2. Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control make it necessary to do so.

  3. The prize is non-negotiable, non-refundable and non-transferable. 

  4. The prize must be redeemed and the event must take place on or before 30 October 2026. The private whisky evening is valid Sunday–Thursday only and is subject to venue availability. Blackout dates may apply at the Promoter’s discretion.

  5. The winner must agree a mutually convenient date with the Promoter in advance. The booking is not confirmed until written confirmation has been provided by the Promoter.

  6. The prize is strictly limited to six (6) guests in total. Additional guests can be added at an additional charge per head.

  7. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or behaves inappropriately. All guests must comply with the venue’s house rules and UK alcohol licensing laws.

  8. The prize does not include travel, accommodation, food outside of the tasting experience, or any additional personal expenses.

  9. The tasting experience is delivered responsibly in accordance with UK licensing laws. The Promoter reserves the right to limit alcohol service and refuse entry or service where appropriate.

  1. WINNERS

    1. Any decision made with regards to the competition is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

    2. Winners will be contacted via direct message within 14 days of the closing date. Winners must respond within 14 days to claim their prize, or the Promoter may award it to a reserve entrant.

    3. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will provide any necessary proof upon any reasonable request from you. You can request any such proof by emailing us at zara@reallygoodwhisky.com with the subject line ‘Venue Hire Promotion’ .

    4. By entering into this competition you confirm you are happy for us to use your name, account username and location to hero your entry, and for the purpose of announcing you as a winner. If you object to us using such details please let us know as soon as possible.

  2.  CLAIMING THE PRIZE

    1. In order to claim the prize you must confirm receipt and follow the instructions as set out in our email, direct message, or comment to you within 14 days of receiving any such communication.

    2. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within the set period, your claim will become invalid. In such cases, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.

      1. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

      2. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

  3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

    1. In so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss (whether direct or indirect), damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents, or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

    1. By entering, you grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display your entryfor the purposes of administering the promotion and promoting The Really Good Whisky Company across its owned channels.

  5. DATA PROTECTION 

    1. Personal data (such as name, social media handle and postal address) will be processed solely for the purposes of administering this promotion, in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

  6. GENERAL

    1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

    2. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

    3. In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions and the details of the competition in any other material, these terms and conditions shall take precedence.

    4. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless you live in a different area of the United Kingdom in which case your local laws will apply and your local courts will have jurisdiction.
