A 30 year old blended scotch, Ballantines 30 is given an impressive 92 points in the Whisky Bible by Jim Murray, and has won Gold at the International Spirit Challenge. This exquisite blended scotch is a combination of some of the rarest whiskies from now closed distilleries. With a juicy fruity taste, its easy to see why this selection is popular. Nose: Soft, age is apparent. Honey, oak and smoke. Palate: Fuller with more oak, fresh floral tones with hints of sherried peels, fruitcake and salty butter. Finish: Long, and spicy.
