About This Whisky

The first of two releases in the Feis Ile 2018 Collection from Bowmore distillery. This 15 year old was matured exclusively in first fill Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at cask strength.   Nose:  Chocoloate raisins alongside indulgent fruit cake laced with date oilPalate:  Creamy treacle toffee intertwined with baked gingerbread with a warming cinnamon spice and orange peel fusion. Finish: A comforting combination of Islay peat smoke and sherry tannins, balanced by the sweetness of rich Demerara sugar.
