About This Whisky

An interesting whisky, this 16 year old from Bruichladdich is 100% bourbon matured. This dram is bold and flavourful and needs to embellishments to prove its worth.   Nose:  Spice and wood, with some bourbon notes mingled in  Palate:  Soft yet rather a spicy impression. A lot of oak comes through on the palate and an abundance of spice. Quite explosive. Finish:  Lingering fruit after a dry and spicy finish
