About This Whisky

This exceptional vintage release from Glenmorangie has been matured for 28 long years, initially distilled in 1975, then bottled in 2003 at 46% ABV. Finished in wine barrels from Tain L'Hermitage, situated in the famous French wine region Rhone Valley. Nose: A distinctively fruity nose, grapes, bananas and dried fruits. Hints of smoke and sweet caramel. Palate: Sweet and spicy, vanilla meets cinnamon. Refreshing fruits and roasted nuts, dusting of cocoa. Rich and bold. Finish: Long, vinous with notes of vanilla and spiced rum.
