About This Whisky

A trio of inaugural releases from the Lagg Distillery on the isle or Arran.

All 3 batches are made from malted Concerto barley, water from their own borehole and peat from Aberdeenshire which gives a gentle, aromatic, woody smoke to the spirit of Lagg. This spirit was matured exclusively in bourbon casks for 36 months and with a peat level of 50PPM.

Batch 1 is finished in ex-bourbon casks; batch 2 is finished in ex-Oloroso sherry casks and batch 3 is finished in ex-red wine charred casks.
