The Laphroaig distillery was originally established on the Isle of Islay in 1815 and holds the Royal Warrant of HRH The Prince of Wales. This 12 year old whisky was bottled in 2003 at an ABV of 46%/ It is from cask number: 6384. This Laphroaig 12 Year Old single malt was selected by the Distillery Manager to be set aside and bottled exclusively for Highgrove Royal Gardens, Selected and bottled exclusively for Highgrove, this organic single malt whisky is distilled from Scottish organic malted barley. Grown in Inverness-shire and matured in a single, numbered, first-use Bourbon cask. 280 bottles per batch.     Nose:  Malt and smokePalate:  Seaweed, smoke and peat.Finish: Long and fruity with lots of peat and smoke - smooth!
