About This Whisky

Ledaig 18 Year Old, Crafted by Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, Ledaig is the peated counterpart to Tobermory's unpeated single malt. It's an island whisky with a distinctly maritime character. Aged for 16 years in ex-bourbon casks, before a 2-year finish in ex-sherry casks. Bottled at 46.3% ABV, this non-chill-filtered whisky contains natural color and is part of Ledaig’s core range. Comes in a gift box with a natural cork stopper.

Tormore Distillery

Tormore takes its name from Gaelic Torra Mhòir, meaning “the big hill”.
The distillery is known for its bold, white granite buildings with copper roofs, ornate landscaping, and a whimsical clock that plays four Scottish tunes every quarter-hour—features that earned it listed building status in 1986, despite its relatively young age. Construction began in 1958 and production started in 1960. As the first new distillery built in Scotland during the 20th century, it was commissioned by Long John Distillers to supply whisky for the blend of the same name. Although most of its spirit supports famous blended Scotch, recent years have seen a growing visibility for its single malt through limited releases and independent bottlings.
