About This Whisky

The Lochlea Ploughing Edition First Crop is an edition befitting the season for the ploughing of the fields, this seasonal farm work is carried out in the cold winter months. For this release Lochlea have sourced ex Islay Barrels and Peated Quarter Casks, maturing the Lochlea spirit in these casks gives a wonderful haze of smoky aromas and flavours to the whisky.
