Macallan 18 Year Old 1994 Whisky

This is the 1994 edition of Macallan's classic and award-winning sherry cask 18 year old whisky. The spirit was matured exclusively in Jerez sherry casks from Spain, which impart rich flavours of dried fruit, ginger and sweet toffee, producing a wonderfully flavoured single malt whisky. The discontinuation of age statements across most of Macallan’s range has made the 18 year old an incredibly sought after and collectible bottling. This is without a box.   Nose: Plenty of crisp citrus, dried fruits and ginger, with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon. Palate: Rich dried fruits with spice, clove, orange and wood smoke. Stewed apples, cinnamon and deep oak flavours follow. Finish: The finish is full and lingering with dried fruits and sweet toffee.
