For this Swedish single malt, Mackmyra worked in conjunction with Japanese tea Specialists Yuko Ono Sthlm to create the Grönt Te whisky which has been matured in Oloroso sherry casks and seasoned with green tea leaves. The teas used to season this dram include Yame Sencha, Yame Gyokuro, Kaoribo Hojicha and Yame Matcha Shinobi.
Nose: Floral and peppery with notes of vanilla, citrus and berries
Palate: Orchard fruits with green tea, vanilla, florals, spice and fruit
Finish: Fruity with some spice, vanilla and green tea
