About This Whisky

Released by Nikka, this range of blended malts is named after Nikka's founder and a key member of the birth of Japanese whisky, Masataka Taketsuru. Only one left in stock - NO BOX.   Nose: Very Sweet like pastry. An aroma of caramelised apple and peach.Palate: Spices, black pepper, loads of tangy sherry, hints of turmeric and other spices. Then ground ginger, mixed peels, apple crumble and salted butter caramel. Finish: Green apples, developing at length, further underlining the strong fruitiness of this pure malt.
