About This Whisky

Springbank 35 Year Old 1989 – Signatory Symington’s Choice | Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 47.8% ABV)

The Springbank 35 Year Old 1989 is an exceptionally rare and long-aged Campbeltown single malt, independently bottled by Signatory Vintage as part of the ultra-premium Symington’s Choice series. Distilled in 1989 at the iconic Springbank distillery, this expression was aged for over three and a half decades before being bottled in 2024 at a natural strength of 47.8% ABV.

Matured in a single cask and bottled with no chill-filtration or added colouring, this release captures the full complexity of vintage Springbank whisky—an elegant balance of dunnage warehouse mustiness, refined coastal peat, dried fruits, mineral smoke, and gentle sherry sweetness, with a rich and lingering finish.

Presented in an exclusive decanter-style bottle under the Symington’s Choice label, this limited-edition bottling is a true collector’s gem.

About Springbank

Springbank: Campbeltown's Craftsmanship Since 1828

Springbank Distillery: Historic Family-Owned Scotch Whisky from Campbeltown Since 1828.
Founded in 1828 by brothers William and John Mitchell, Springbank Distillery remains proudly family-owned and operated across generations. This long-standing heritage ensures a strong commitment to traditional production methods and consistent quality in every drop of Springbank whisky.
As one of the last surviving distilleries in Campbeltown — historically known as the whisky capital of Scotland — Springbank is famous for preserving classic Scotch whisky craftsmanship. The distillery’s unique process includes onsite floor malting and distilling all whisky on-site, setting it apart from many other producers.
Springbank’s exceptional range offers whisky lovers a true taste of Campbeltown, characterized by robust, slightly smoky flavors. Renowned for their complexity, Springbank whiskies deliver a harmonious balance of rich fruit notes, delicate peat smoke, and distinctive maritime influences that whisky connoisseurs around the world admire.
