Yamazaki Limited Edition 2014 Whisky

The Yamazaki Limited Edition 2014 is a single malt of exception. Its composition is the result of the expertise of Suntory's master blenders. Indeed, in addition to being bottled in a collector bottle, this whisky is a sublime blend of young and old whiskies aged in oak barrels from different origins. The sweet and fruity typical aromas of the Yamazaki single malts, is fully expressed in this exclusive version. Mature whiskies used in the composition of Yamazaki Limited Edition 2014 gives it an amazing depth and a range of aromas as rich as those of the oldest japanese whiskies. This whisky is a blend of two 20 year old single malts aged in sherry and port wine casks, with a young well affirmed character single malt aged in Bourbon barrels.   Nose: Cantaloupe and honeydew, mild vanilla, honey and grapefruit rinds. Palate: Thick and creamy citrus, melon and vanilla custard, with a touch of caramel and banana. Finish: Medium finish of fruits and honey.
