About This Whisky

The highly sought after 2013 edition of Yamazaki Sherry Cask was awarded World Whisky of the Year in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2015.

Matured in Spanish sherry casks lending it a huge oloroso signature, nutty, thick, dry as a rounded snooker ball according to Murray, with a nose of exquisite boldness!  

Nose: Loads of sherry, plums, forest fruits, toffee, vanilla and a spicy tang.

Palate: Bittersweet!! Sherry and oak, citrus, orange peel, and red berries with dry tannins.

Finish: Long, and bittersweet - we see why this has won so many awards!!!
