About This Whisky

This 127 proof cask strength release from Boondocks is aged for 11 years in used oak barrels. A product of Bardstown, Kentucky this creation by Master Distiller David E. Scheurich is bottled at a whopping 63.5% ABV.   Nose: Surprisingly sweet considering the strength. Notes of sweet vanilla and caramel, balanced with deep oak. Palate: Baking spices, think nutmeg and cinnamon. Complimented with sweet vanilla and cherries, think bake-well tarts. Finish: Long and lingering, mouth-covering and warming on the tongue.
