About This Whisky

This is the second release in the Devil's Cask series from Bowmore, a 10 Year Old matured exclusively and uniquely in first fill sherry casks. Ruby red and full-bodied, rich sweet sherry and characteristic peat combine. This release sold out even faster than the first batch when the 6000 bottles were released in October 2014.   Nose: Sweet maple syrup and then the smell of the sea, fresh seawater and iodine. Palate: Intense and full bodied. Dark, sweet berries and tangy apple. Then warm winter spices, black pepper with peat and rich sherry throughout. Finish: Medium in length, dry dark fruit and oak.
