Nose

Aromas of dark fruits (blackberries, plums, black cherries) with spiced undertones of cinnamon, cloves, and perhaps a touch of gingerbread or nutmeg.

Palate

Taste is sweet, notes of dried plums, raisins, blackcurrants, and candied orange peel, all complemented by layers of spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and a slight ginger warmth.

Finish

Exceptionally long, with the flavors continuing to evolve as they fade.

About This Whisky

The Old School Single Malt is a rare and aged whisky, offering complex flavors developed over its long maturation. This very special edition from Signatory Vintage is a complete mystery - and the distillery has not yet been disclosed, however, the tasting notes may give away a few clues. All we know is that it has been matured for 45 years in 2nd fill Oloroso sherry butts, is natural in color, and non-chill filtered.
