About This Whisky

This Longmorn 13‑Year‑Old by Gordon & MacPhail is a masterfully balanced Speyside whisky—bright orchard fruit and zesty citrus, enveloped by spicy warmth and honeyed richness. It’s a standout independent bottling, ideal for both sharing and collecting.

About Longmorn Distillery

Longmorn Distillery

Located just south of the River Lossie, near Elgin in Speyside, Scotland, Longmorn is named from the Gaelic Lhanmorgund, linked to a historic holy chapel on its site. Founded in 1893–94 by John Duff, Charles Shirres, and George Thomson, Longmorn began production in December 1894. Masataka Taketsuru—founding figure of Japanese whisky—trained here in 1920, and Nikka’s stills are said to have been modelled after Longmorn’s. In 1978 it became part of Chivas Brothers (Seagram), and then transferred to Pernod Ricard in 2001, where it remains today. A modernisation in 2012 included facility upgrades and increased capacity to 4.5 million litres per year.
