Product Overview

Discover the depth and complexity of Mortlach 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, a masterpiece from Gordon & MacPhail’s Distillery Labels range. Bottled at 46% ABV, this exceptional Speyside single malt represents the legendary Mortlach style — rich, meaty, and full-bodied — matured to perfection over a quarter of a century.

Produced at the historic Mortlach Distillery in Dufftown, this expression has been nurtured in carefully selected oak casks chosen by Gordon & MacPhail, one of Scotland’s most respected independent bottlers. Presented in a 70cl bottle, this whisky is non-chill filtered and of natural colour, delivering a full, authentic Speyside experience with remarkable balance and intensity.

The Mortlach 25 Year Old Distillery Label captures the essence of this legendary distillery — powerful, savoury, and deeply rewarding, with every sip revealing a new layer of Speyside excellence.

About Mortlach

Mortlach Distillery

Mortlach is located in the heart of Speyside, near the town of Dufftown in the northeast of Scotland. It sits amidst a region renowned for whisky production, with many of the world’s most famous distilleries nearby.
Mortlach was founded in 1823 by James Fleming, and it has been producing whisky continuously since then, making it one of the oldest operating distilleries in Speyside.
The name Mortlach is derived from the Gaelic words “Mòr” (big) and “Lach” (lake), possibly referring to the nearby stream or river.
Mortlach has had several ownership changes throughout its history. It was originally independent but was later bought by various companies over the years, including The Distillers Company Limited (DCL), and eventually became part of Diageo when DCL merged into it. Despite these ownership shifts, Mortlach has maintained a distinct identity, with a loyal following of whisky aficionados.
