North Star 12-Year-Old is an intriguing independent bottling from North Star Spirits delivers a compelling blend of Islay-style peatiness paired with red fruit sweetness and subtle tannic structure—courtesy of its red wine hogshead finish. The 53% ABV ensures a powerful, flavorful core, beautifully balanced with both smokiness and fruit. A true collector’s gem, given the limited release and bold profile. Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2025 at 12 years of age. This expression is from an undisclosed distillery with only 324 bottles made.
