  PORT CHARLOTTE HEAVILY PEATED 10 YEAR OLD – 2012 This is a rich and smoky whisky made by Bruichladdich this is the first edition in a long range of PC’s (as we commonly refer to them). This version punches well above the 10 years of maturation in terms of flavour and taste we find it has a deeper sherry note than the 2014 expression. What is interesting to note the older version (2012 & 2013) has a natural colour when compared to the newer 2014 and onwards which have been brightened. It is another method to differentiate instead of the bar code.
