Roku Japanese Craft Gin is a premium Japanese gin from the House of Suntory, expertly crafted using a distinctive combination of traditional gin botanicals and six uniquely Japanese botanicals. Bottled at 43% ABV and presented in Roku's instantly recognisable hexagonal bottle, this elegant craft gin offers a beautifully balanced combination of citrus, floral, herbal and subtly spicy flavours.
The name Roku means "six" in Japanese, referring to the six Japanese botanicals at the heart of the recipe: sakura flower, sakura leaf, yuzu peel, sencha tea, gyokuro tea and sansho pepper.
Each botanical is harvested at the optimum point in its season to capture its individual aroma and flavour. These Japanese ingredients are combined with traditional gin botanicals, including juniper, coriander, angelica root, angelica seed, cardamom, cinnamon, bitter orange peel and lemon peel.
The result is a refined and exceptionally versatile Japanese craft gin, combining classic juniper with vibrant yuzu citrus, delicate cherry blossom, aromatic green tea and a gently spicy sansho pepper finish.
