About Royal Brackla

Royal Brackla Distillery, established in 1812 in Nairnshire within the Scottish Highlands, is one of Scotland’s oldest licensed distilleries and is famously known as “The King’s Own Whisky.” In 1835, it became the first distillery ever to receive a Royal Warrant, awarded by King William IV—an honour that sets it apart in Scotch whisky history.

Located near Cawdor Castle, Royal Brackla produces a richly flavoured and characterful Highland single malt, admired for its fruity sweetness, honeyed depth, and elegant finish. Its spirit is used both in premium blends and in a growing range of sought-after single malts.
