Strathmill 25 Year Old - 2014 Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Part of the Diageo Special Releases Collection 2014. A limited edition, 25 year old natural cask strength single malt from Strathmill, a Speyside distillery rarely seen as a single malt. This is the first extra-mature bottling to be made by the original distillers and the first Strathmill in this series of limited releases. Distilled in 1988 and matured in refill American Oak casks, there are only 2,700 individually numbered bottles available world-wide.   Nose: Creamy vanilla fudge, into a sweet lemongrass Palate: Candied yet a sharper marmalade with drying notes of cough candy and clove.
