About This Whisky

The Macallan 18 Year Old 1988 and Earlier Single Malt Whisky   This benchmark Macallan has been fully matured in ex-sherry casks and remains one of the most highly-regarded after-dinner drams thanks to its slick, sweet smoothness. It also benefits from the rare non shiny outer box.   Nose: oak, raisins, sherry, floral, milk chocolate, bubble gum, honey, hint of mint, red-currants Palate: sherry, salty chocolate, candied fruits, floral, almonds, grapes, caramel, hints of cherries and vanilla, plums Finish: bitter, toffee, coffee, long   Please note dents to carton.
