About This Whisky

This is the First Chapter in the now iconic Devils Punch Bowl Series released by Arran. Released in 2012, only 6660 bottles of this now highly-sought after bottle were produced. The spirit itself was matured in oak casks and is a multi-vintage vatting of 24 casks of whisky dating between 1996 and 2006, including some peated spirit. The cask strength whisky is packaged in a devilish red and black presentation box. Nose: Savoury wood spice, caramelised pears, biscuit, dried grass and tropical fruit. Palate: More fruit, vanilla, allspice and smoke emerging beneath the surface. Finish: Rich caramel, gentle phenols, hints of blackcurrant and cinnamon.
