About This Whisky

The second bottling in the Smugglers' Series from the Arran distillery (the first one proved rather popular indeed!). This one has been matured in a combination of rum casks and first-fill bourbon barrels - 8,700 bottles were produced. Absolutely brilliantly presented once again! Nose: Fresh baked bread, chili pepper, spiced rum, yellow apple, glazed ham.Palate: Chili pepper, brown sugar, bread pudding with bourbon sauce, caramel, slight spearamint, baked yellow apples.Finish: Brown sugar, chili pepper, bread rolls, vanilla, warm apple pie with ice cream, apple cider, funky rum.
