Ballantine's 17 Year Old Miltonduff Blended Scotch Whisky

A glowing member of Ballantine's Signature Distillery Collection, intended to highlight the importance of the four distilleries central to the timeless brand - Scapa, Glenburgie, Miltonduff and Glentauchers. This particular blend is a creation from esteemed distillery Miltonduff in Speyside, which has operated in Morayshire since 1824. This time, Miltonduff has been selected and this edition is intended to highlight the nuances of Miltonduff's malt - with plenty of sweet spices and subtle floral notes, whilst staying true to the brands style of blend.   Nose: Rich fruity and floral. Distinct flavours of sweet peaches in syrup, juicy oranges and creamy soft toffee with hints of toasted almonds.  Palate: Sweet floral flavours - subtle notes of rose. Extremely smooth with a presence of milk chocolate and spicy cinnamon. Spiced cloves and liquorice ever-present.  Finish: A long and pleasant finish, warming with a sweet after-taste.
